A Bugatti Bolide is headed to Australia. Commissioned by businessman Laurence Escalante, it will be part of the Lee Collection based in Perth, Western Australia.

Chassis number 005, is the second new Bugatti hypercar to be shipped to the land down under after the Chiron Super Sport Vader, and also the second Bolide in the southern hemisphere. It is finished in brown carbon with copper accents and has a Gaucho Tan leather interior.

The Bolide is the most track-focused Bugatti hypercar ever made, and the ultimate track toy. Only 40 examples are being built for collectors around the world, each with a base price of $4 million.

Powering the Bolide is an 8.0-liter W16 engine that generates 1825 hp and 1475 lb-ft of torque. The car weighs just 1450 kg (dry), which gives it a power-to-weight ratio of more than 1100 hp per tonne.

The Bugatti Bolide made its Australian debut last month at the 2025 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival.
