A rare McLaren P1 GTR converted for road use by Lanzante is now for sale in Dubai. The hypercar has been listed at F1rst Motors for $3.3 million.
In 2015, Lanzante launched the road conversion package for the P1 GTR. Since then, 27 units have been converted for road use. This one featured here is particularly special, as it’s virtually new, with zero miles on the clock.
The P1 GTR comes with a high-downforce package, which includes a front splitter, canards, side skirts, a rear diffuser and a massive fixed rear spoiler. It has centre-lock wheels and a bespoke exhaust as well.
Even though this P1 GTR is street-legal, it retains its race-spec interior. The cabin has been completely stripped out but has leather seats, a leather-wrapped race steering wheel and red-tinted carbon interior trim.
The P1 GTR is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 986 hp – which is 83 hp more than the standard McLaren P1 road car. It also weighs 50 kg less. The P1 GTR can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds and will reach a top speed of 217 mph.
