The Manthey Racing kit is now available for the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. The new upgrade package, developed in collaboration with the Porsche Development Centre in Weissach, not only adds more downforce but is also said to improve handling and braking performance.

The 911 GT3 RS receives a significant aero upgrade as part of the Manthey kit. It includes a revised rear wing, redesigned wheel arch Gurney flaps, two dive places on either side of the front bumper and a splitter.

The aero package also includes six additional roof fins, a shark fin attached to a 25% lighter carbon fibre rear panel, which replaces the rear window. There’s a wider rear diffuser, carbon aerodisc wheel covers and a DRS wing element as well. With these changes, the overall downforce levels have gone up to 1032 kg at 285 km/h.

The Manthey kit also adds semi-active coilover suspension with 30% higher spring rates at the front and 15% at the rear. The suspension can be adjusted depending on the driving mode: Normal, Sport and Track.

Another major update comes in the form of steel-sheathed brake lines for a more direct pedal feel and faster response time. The GT3 RS is equipped with carbon ceramic brakes paired with pads that have been specially developed for track use.

“With the Manthey Kit, the 911 GT3 RS has improved significantly on the racetrack, especially on medium-speed corners,” says Porsche Brand Ambassador Jörg Bergmeister. “The car dives, pitches and rolls even less, offering a much more stable aerodynamic platform. The high contact pressure therefore remains very constant under all driving conditions.”
