This year marks the 30th anniversary of the McLaren F1 GTR’s victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. To celebrate this occasion, UK-based specialist Lanzante is building a special supercar. It is likely to be showcased at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Lanzante has released a teaser showcasing a design sketch of the upcoming model. It appears to be a 3-seater with a central driving position, which leads us to suspect whether it could be based on the McLaren Speedtail.
If that is the case, we might get a heavily modified Speedtail with track-focused upgrades. It could feature a bespoke high-downforce package instead of the low drag, long tail design. It will be a fitting tribute to the McLaren F1 GTR.

The McLaren Speedtail uses a petrol-electric hybrid powertrain with a combined output of 1036 hp. It can accelerate from 0-186 mph in 12.8 seconds and has a top speed of 250 mph.
