Koenigsegg is working on a new special edition of the Jesko hypercar. There have been multiple reports floating around on social media, suggesting that a special iteration of the Jesko is imminent.
MrJWW, who has close ties with the brand, confirmed this on Instagram a few days back. @muc.collector, who was among the first customers to take delivery of a Jesko Attack has also confirmed the same.
Details about the so-called special edition are still unknown. However, there have been rumors of a more extreme version of the Jesko. It could be a more track-focused version of the standard car with more extreme aero and other modifications.
That being said, the standard Jesko is no less extreme. It is powered by a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that puts out 1280 hp and 1106 lb-ft of max torque. The engine is hooked to a 9-speed multi-clutch transmission, which Koenigsegg refers to as the Light Speed Transmission or LST.
