A supercar dealer in Germany has listed a Ferrari F80 build slot on Mobile.de. The car is being offered at a ridiculous price of $6.3 million!
As you may be aware, the Ferrari F80 is Maranello’s latest hypercar that replaces the LaFerrari. 799 examples are being built, which, frankly, is a lot for a flagship Ferrari. While they are already sold out, we can expect more build slots popping-up for sale now that the car has been revealed.
First impressions of the F80 following its dynamic debut at Finali Mondiali aren’t too positive, though. As far as the design is concerned, opinions are split. It certainly isn’t as good-looking as the LaFerrari. Under the skin is a twin-turbo V6 hybrid powertrain derived from the 499P Le Mans racer. While it packs 1200 hp, the overall driving experience is unlikely to be as exciting as its V12 predecessors.
Then there’s the price tag. The F80 has a base price of around $4 million. To put that in perspective, Bugatti is building 250 units for the Tourbillon for the same price. So, the F80 will be more common, and there is most certainly an F80 Aperta around the corner.
