The 2024 Ford Mustang was unveiled in September last year. Besides the regular GT, the updated model comes in a new Dark Horse trim, which sounds exciting, but we didn’t know what it would actually offer until now.

Ford has now shared a few details of the Dark Horse, and the first thing that caught our attention is the exterior colour. The car comes in a new shade of anodized blue called ‘Blue Ember’.

According to Ford, it’s a shade that features special effect pigments of deep blues infused with a warm amber hue to give this exterior paint a highly dramatic color shift in different lights and angles. Customers can choose from two exclusive stripe options offered in vinyl and hand-painted graphics and a black roof.

Inside, the Mustang Dark Horse gets an anodized blue manual shift knob made from lightweight titanium, while the automatic version gets anodized silver shift paddles. The car also comes with a flat-bottom steering wheel with Bright Indigo Blue stitching and a 13.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
