Hennessey has revealed the first client spec of the Venom F5. We don’t know whether this will be the first customer car to roll off the assembly line. But either way, it looks really striking.

This customer has gone with a Blue Arione exterior with orange accents. The car appears to have an exposed carbon roof, black wheels and orange brake calipers. The interior is finished in a dual-tone of black and orange.

The Venom F5 is based on a carbon monocoque and weighs just 1360 kg. It has a power-to-weight ratio of 1298 hp per ton. The F5 is light because it is built to take on hypercar heavyweights like the Koenigsegg Jesko and the Chiron Super Sport.

The Venom F5 is powered by a 6.6-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 engine that develops 1817 hp @ 8000 rpm and 1,193 lb-ft @ 5000 rpm. The engine is hooked up to a semi-automatic single-clutch transmission that drives the rear wheels. That’s a pretty conventional setup.
