Ferrari F250 prototype (LaFerrari successor) breaks down

1 Min Read

Last week, we shared the first images of Ferrari’s next-gen hypercar. Since then, the LaFerrari successor (codenamed: F250) has been regularly spotted around Maranello, and today was no exception.

The prototype was out testing today as well. However, its lap around the factory was cut short due to a technical issue. The test mule was seen parked on the side of the road with a Ferrari engineering standing guard.

Since there’s no visible damage, it doesn’t seem like the prototype was involved in a crash. Therefore, we can presume that the car had just broken down. Eventually, help arrived, and the F250 prototype was covered up and transported back to the factory.

Little is known about the LaFerrari successor. However, the warning stickers suggest that there is likely to be a hybrid powertrain under the hood.
