Close on the heels of Aston Martin and McLaren, two more British car brands are planning to build their own hypercars.
Our sources have told us that Lotus – the makers of lightweight sportscars like the Evora and Exige and BAC – the brand behind the single-seater Mono are set to enter the hypercar space.
Details about both these projects are still scarce, however we have learned that Lotus is working on an all-electric 2-seat hypercar, while BAC probably has a hybrid in the pipeline. Moreover, BAC is rumoured to use graphene in its construction.
We don’t have details about the powertrains at this moment. But, keep watching this space as we will be updating this article as soon as more information is available.
