Last month, we reported that Aston Martin was gearing up to introduce the V12 Vantage Roadster this summer. We can now confirm that the car will be revealed in the coming weeks.
What you see here are the first images of the V12 Vantage Roadster. These were sent to us by an Instagram user who prefers to remain anonymous.
Getting an allocation for a coupe was difficult, as only 333 units will be produced. The roadster will be even more exclusive, and preference will be given to those who have a coupe on order. We’ve been told that production is likely to be limited to 199 units.
Like the coupe, the Roadster too will be powered by a 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine. This engine makes 690 hp and 555 lb-ft of torque and will be mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
According to our sources, the V12 Vantage Roadster is expected to cost approximately £280,000, excluding taxes.
