Jamiroquai lead singer Jay Kay owns quite a few Ferraris including a LaFerrari finished in a unique green shade. He recently added another Ferrari supercar to his garage – a 488 Pista.
This time, Jay Kay has gone for a more discreet spec. The car is finished in Blu Scozia with white stripes running down the centre. It rides on gold wheels and has black brake calipers. The interior is wrapped in brown Alcantara with carbon fiber trim pieces.
The Ferrari 488 Pista is the most extreme road-going version of the 488 GTB and the successor to the 458 Speciale. The car features an F1-inspired S-duct up front, a dolphin-tail spoiler at the back and other aerodynamic tweaks. The changes have resulted in 20% more downforce compared to the standard 488.
Powering the 488 Pista is a 3.9-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 710 hp @ 8000 rpm and peak torque of 568 lb-ft @ 3000 rpm. The engine uses Inconel exhaust manifolds, lightweight crankshaft, flywheel, titanium connecting rods and carbon fiber intake plenums. It is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
