It’s that time of the year when we get to see some interesting concepts at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. This year, BMW plans to showcase a one-off roadster, which was teased by the brand’s design head Adrian van Hooydonk recently.
The images shared by Adrian show the rear end of the 2-seater roadster. The car appears to be based on the BMW Z4 and has a brown exterior.
In the second image, you can see a faint silhouette which gives us the impression that it could be a coupe.
As you would imagine, technical details of the new one-off are unknown. It could, however, share its underpinnings with the Z4 M40i. This variant of the Z4 packs a 3.0-liter, 6-cylinger engine that makes 335 hp and 370 lb-ft of torque and is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
