The US market is soon set to get an exclusive version of the 911 GT3 RS. The Tribute to the Carrera RS package. Uniquely, Porsche will offer this only in America and not other markets.
While the car was unveiled a while back, it is only now that the car has landed on US shores ahead of deliveries.
What’s new in the 2023 911 Porsche GT3 RS Tribute to Carrera RS?
The car will make its debut at the 12 hours of Sebring next month. This Porsche 911 GT3 will pay homage to the 911 Carrera RS 2.7, which is considered quite a driver’s car and has acquired quite a cult following.
The first thing that one will notice in this car is the uniquely striking paint scheme. The car is available in an exclusive white with python green accents. The green color is also applied on the mirror caps, magnesium alloy wheels and the lower body along with the branding on the doors. Further, Porsche has adorned this color on the valve stem caps as well as the keys. The rear wing as well as its end plate get Porsche and the RS branding in the same color. Further, the end plates come with a green American flag as well.
Coming to the insides, Porsche has equipped this unique 911 with contrast green stitching throughout the cabin.
Powertrain of the 2023 911 Porsche GT3 RS Tribute to Carrera RS
The car comes with the naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six engine. This motor churns out 518 HP and 343 lb-ft of max torque. Porsche says the car’s 0-62 mph time is 3.2 seconds while the top speed is 184 mph.
Pricing of this limited-edition Porsche 911
Porsche has set the base price of the sports car at US$ 314,000. This includes a destination charge of US$ 1,450. Yes, the price tag is much higher than the regular 911’s US$ 223,800 amount, but the car comes with a host of extras. These include 1:43 scale models of the 2023 GT3 RS and the 1973 Carrera RS, a custom car cover and a unique Porsche Design Chronograph amongst others.
