Rimac Concept One’s crazy acceleration should be a surprise to no one. But, how does it stack against the naturally-aspirated V12 Lamborghini Aventador S and the hybrid Honda NSX?
In the first episode of ‘The Grand Tour’ season 2, former Top Gear trio – Richard Hammond, Jeremy Clarkson and James May take the three cars to an airfield in Switzerland to find out. As it turns out, the race has a clear winner and you already have a clue to what it is. What surprised us however was how the NSX was able to keep up with the Aventador S and even, for a brief amount of time, outrun it.
Jeremy Clarkson, who was driving the Lamborghini clearly seems amazed by the Rimac’s acceleration.“I have never seen anything like that; I have never seen anything move as quickly as that” commented Clarkson who isn’t quite known for his love for electric cars.
Unfortunately, just after this clip was filmed, Richard Hammond met with a tragic accident while running a hill climb in the Rimac.
