Zenvo Aurora V12 hypercar revealed via patent images
Last month, Zenvo released a teaser of its upcoming hypercar called the Aurora. The Danish brand’s latest creation is set to debut at Pebble Beach in August. Now, the first design sketches of the 249 mph hypercar have leaked through patent filings.
The Aurora looks quite extreme in these images, just like a hypercar should. It has a low front end featuring slim sweptback headlamps and a sloping roofline that blends into the rear section. The car appears to have air channels behind the front wheels along with ducts in the rear fascia that extract air from the engine bay. The front and rear suspension linkages are also visible from some angles.
The Zenvo Aurora will be based around a carbon fiber monocoque, with a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 engine at its heart. The car reportedly uses electric turbochargers instead of conventional ones and is said to pack around 1200-1800 hp.
The Aurora will be offered in two variants: Tur and Agil. The former is a more road-focused version with claimed top speed of 249 mph, while the Agil will be a high-downforce version designed for the race track.
