The Lamborghini Aventador SV was unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show sporting an even more powerful V12 engine and host of other upgrades. The company had committed to build 600 examples of the fastest Aventador supercar ever and now with just a few months gone by all 600 of them have been booked. That’s why you can’t buy a Lamborghini Aventador SV anymore.

If you did miss the chance to own one of these exclusive supercars, then you will have to until the Roadster comes along. That’s correct. Lamborghini will be building an Aventador SV Roadster which will be revealed at a later date. That said, underneath the magnificent carbon fiber bodywork would be the same 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine with 750 hp and a top speed of 217 mph!
