You can buy a Bugatti Chiron roof assembly for $55,000!

You happen to own a Bugatti, and one day, you inadvertently scrape its roof on the garage door. Well, there’s a solution. You can now purchase a Bugatti Chiron roof assembly off of the internet. SGR Automotive has one for sale if you’re planning on a DIY replacement.

Jokes aside, the company will sell you a Bugatti Chiron roof assembly for $55,000. They also claim that the carbon fibre roof panel is an OEM part. However, we aren’t sure how and from where they managed to source it.

Unlike the Veyron, the Chiron, was never designed to have a removable roof. As you can see, the replacement roof assembly bolts straight to the carbon structure of the car. That being said, it certainly won’t be as easy as tightening a few bolts.

The roof is a structural member of the Chiron’s monocoque. Here you can see how it looks under the carbon skin. Note the provision made in the roof panel for the ‘Sky View’ glass roof.
