XCARFilms reviews Porsche 911 Carrera GTS

Porsche 911 Carrera GTS

This week, Alex Goy jumps into a Porsche in a bid to explain why a Porsche 911 Carrera GTS could be the perfect 911 for the average enthusiast. The GTS model slots between the more expensive GT and Turbo models and the Carrera S/ 4S versions.

In terms of equipment, the GTS does get a lot of features as standard. 20-inch wheels, Sport Chrono Pack, PDK gearbox, Porsche Active Stability Management and a wider rear axle, all of which comes from a common parts bin. Yes, the GTS badge harks back to the days of the 904 racing car, but sadly today, it is reduced to a trim level than anything else.

The 991 Gen Porsche 911 Carrera GTS then, is the result of the marketing bosses at Porsche. Nevertheless, according to XCARFilms it is quite rightly the perfect 911 for all occasions.
