Last week, shocking images of a crash involving the $17 million Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta had surfaced on social media. The owner of the car has now come out and shared an update.
Oleg Egorov has confirmed that the Zonda HP Barchetta is now on its way to the Pagani factory in Modena, Italy. The hypercar will undergo a full restoration and will be back on the road in 5-6 months.
“As a result of the accident, one of our cars participating in the @supercarownerscircle event … was damaged and sent back to the factory, from where it will leave in 5-6 months with a brand new car! “
This HP Barchetta is one of just three cars ever built. It was delivered to the owner of TopCar Design in February 2022. The car was participating in the Supercar Owners Circle event held in Croatia, when it crashed somewhere near Zagreb. Despite being heavily damaged, it was voted as the best car of this year’s show.
