World’s most powerful AMG GT Black Series by RENNtech

Florida-based tuner RENNtech is now offering a tuning package for the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series. The company’s R3 package boosts performance to stratospheric levels.

The RENNtech R3 package for the AMG GT Black Series consists of an ECU upgrade, stainless steel downpipes, BOV adapters, BMC air filters, Stage-2 turbo upgrade, and an upgraded performance clutch and TCU upgrade. Besides this, the company has also thrown in a set of Track Series forged wheels.

The stock Black Series packs a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that belts out 720 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. The RENNtech upgrade pushes the overall output to 1066 hp and 831 lb-ft! If you aren’t feeling brave enough, RENNtech also offers an ECU upgrade for $4,480, which boosts engine performance by more than 99 hp and 95 lb-ft.

The Black Series comes with a unique aero package, featuring a low front splitter and fender louvres. It also has a 2-piece rear spoiler which has an electronically adjustable flap. The tuner doesn’t seem to have made any changes to the interior.
