World’s first street legal Pagani Huayra R by Lanzante in the works

The streets of Miami will soon be abuzz with one of the loudest naturally aspirated V12 engines ever made. The world’s first street-legal Pagani Huayra R is expected to be delivered to the city in about a year’s time.

The Huayra R owned by @petfred, was recently shipped to Lanzante in the UK. The car will undergo a complete transformation, ready to be driven on the streets in the next 14-18 months.

A street conversion of a hypercar like the Huayra R won’t be an easy task. However, we’ve already seen what the boffins at Lanzante are capable of. Most of the modifications will be focused on making the car more driveable on the street while complying with regulations. We can expect a slightly tweaked suspension with a raised ride height, a front axle lift system, and a set of headlights and taillights, among other changes.

The monstrous naturally aspirated V12-R engine could receive minor tweaks, along with improved cooling. This engine produces 850 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque and revs to 9000 rpm.

Lanzante has also built street-legal versions of the Pagani Zonda R, another wild track machine. That being said, we can’t wait to see the Huayra R on the streets of Miami.
