When Weight Reduction on a Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita goes out of hand
Published on
Weight reduction is what you do when your Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita just isn’t fast enough. Right?
The Koenigsegg CCXR has a carbon fiber body and a stripped out interior. There’s isn’t much one can do to reduce the weight of the car further. Or, may be there is a way?
The guys over at Boden AutoHaus went a bit crazy and decided to strip off the front and rear clam shell altogether. Of course, it was not for weight reduction. The CCXR Trevita was in the shop to get a titanium catback exhaust installed and while it was there, the boys decided to have some fun.
The CCXR Trevita is guaranteed to turn heads anywhere it goes. But, without the bodywork, it looks even crazier. That said, it certainly doesn’t look legal.
