Watch the 2020 Chevrolet C8 Corvette Stingray making Donuts!

Nothing much to see here. It’s just a 2020 Chevy C8 Corvette Stingray making donuts.

The first reviews of the mid-engined 2020 Chevrolet C8 Corvette Stingray will start arriving on automotive media platforms from this month. Road & Track is among the big names which have got the media car to test and editor Zach Bowman is having jolly-good fun with it.

While the review embargo stopped him from delving into the details, there was nothing which stopped him from posting a brief video of the new Vette making donuts. It’s an exciting sight to behold as the red C8 Corvette goes about the business of laying down some rubber, going round and round in circles.

In related news, we have reason to believe that Road & Track is testing the Chevy along with other performance cars for the Performance Car of the Year title. One of the images in Bowman’s Instagram page shows the new Corvette sharing the tarmac with a Porsche 911, a Lotus Exige, and what we assume is the Nissan GT-R. Boy, that’s a party!

Hopefully, we’ll see more demonstrations of power, speed, and fun in the coming days as the internet will be flooded with footage from various car portals.

Powered by a 6.2-liter V8 LT2 engine mounted in the middle, the 2020 Chevrolet C8 Corvette Stingray directs 490 hp of power and 465 lb-ft of torque to its rear wheels. With a claimed top speed of 194 kph and 0-60 mph time sitting under 3 seconds, the new offering looks all set to live up to the celebrated Corvette name tag.
