VIDEO: Powersliding a Ferrari 812 Superfast around Mugello
This guy makes drifting a 789 hp Ferrari 812 Superfast look like a walk in the park.
This gentleman’s passion for powersliding is pretty understandable. For one thing, he owns a vast collection of Ferraris and Porsches and has access to race tracks all around Europe. He goes by the name of, well, ‘Powerslide Lover’ on social media channels and has gathered a large following uploading videos of him powersliding around different racetracks.
The latest video involves his new 812 Superfast being thrashed around the Mugello Circuit in Italy. Like most of his videos, this one gives a driver’s POV. This perspective actually make the videos more intriguing as you can watch the driver work the steering to give the car a seamless jolt around the corner.
The Ferrari 812 Superfast is a replacement of the F12 Berlinetta and the company’s latest front-engined V12 supercar. It features a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter version of the Ferrari F140 V12 engine instead of the 6.3-litre engine used in the F12 Berlinetta. The engine produces 789 hp at 8,500 rpm and 530 lb-ft of torque at 7,000 rpm. As of 2018, this is the most powerful naturally aspirated production car engine ever made. Just listen to the fierce shriek of the NA V12.
