VIDEO: Pagani’s Factory is a Work of Art, Just Like their Cars

The 2018 Gumball 3000 is up and running. The rally started in London last week and the finale is scheduled to be held in Japan. However, before the participants fly all the way to Osaka a surprise awaits them in Italy: a tour of the Pagani Factory in San Cesario sul Panaro, Modena.

James from the Mr. JWW Youtube channel, who gave us a sneak peek inside Gumballer’s secret garage now takes us on a tour of the factory. The Pagani factory is more of an artisanal studio than a factory. Better yet, it is a combination of an Italian village, an art gallery and a manufacturing facility. The walls and glass panels inside the facility are adorned with shrubbery. There is even a clock tower and traditional streetlights inside the main manufacturing area where Huayra Roadsters are currently under construction.

There are display cases showcasing custom anodized parts and carbon fiber panels that go into the cars. Housings on the spotlights seem to be plucked straight out of a Huayra’s headlights. The handles on doors use the same leather used on Pagani’s cars and are hand-stitched.

As beautiful and artistic as the Pagani factory is, its tour won’t be complete without checking out the Horacio’s personal collection on display at the Pagani museum. ‘The Gallery’ includes one of his earliest works to his latest cars including the Zonda Cinque Roadster.
