Veyron Ettore Bugatti is final Les Légendes de Bugatti edition
The Bugatti Veyron turns 10 next year and would soon be replaced with an all-new Bugatti hypercar. After launching the 1200 hp Super Sport and Vitesse models, the company began work on “The Legends Edition” which comprised of bespoke, one-off Veyrons honoring the greats in the brand’s long history. Bugatti committed itself to making 6 such bespoke Veyrons and the last of it will be finally revealed at the 2014 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
The final Legends Edition Bugatti honors the company’s founder Ettore Bugatti and is based on the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. The 8.0-liter W16 engine puts out a massive 1,183 hp allowing it accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 2.6 seconds. Top speed has been restricted to 254 mph making it one of the fastest convertibles on the planet.
The exterior and interior has been designed to mimic the 1932 Type 41 Royale chassis 41111. Polished aluminum wraps around the front and sides of the car, while the rear is in dark blue carbon fiber. The wheels have a new design and are diamond cut and polished to perfection.
The interior of the car is wrapped in natural brown leather upholstery and natural cordovan leather. Contrasting blue is carried over from the exterior to the seats, rear center box cover and door trim. A platinum coated ornament sculpted by Rembrant, Ettore Bugatti’s brother sits proud on the rear center box cover. The price of all of this luxury, exclusivity and performance is $3.14 million.
