UK’s first Koenigsegg Jesko arrives at the London dealership
The first Koenigsegg Jesko has landed in the UK. The hypercar recently arrived at Koenigsegg London, but there’s an interesting story behind it.
According to @koenigseggjesko.registry , this bright red Jesko Attack was supposed to be delivered to a client in Seoul, South Korea, through Bodyfriend Koenigsegg. It was specced in 2021, but since then, Korean law requires all vehicles to be equipped with an Advanced Emergency Braking System (AEB). This feature is not available in the Jesko, and hence, it’s no longer legal in the country. Therefore, it was sold to a UK-based client and is now awaiting delivery.
We quite like the spec on this Jesko, even though it’s basic. The exterior is finished in Chili Red – a no-cost option. It has matching mirrors and brake calipers. It rides on aluminium wheels.
The interior of this Jesko Attack has been trimmed in dual-tone upholstery in Snow and Anthracite leather with gold stitching. Besides the aluminium trim, the client has opted for a Chili Red G-Force Meter to match the exterior.
The Koenigsegg Jesko is powered by a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that puts out 1280 hp and 1106 lb-ft of max torque. The engine is hooked to a 9-speed multi-clutch transmission, which Koenigsegg refers to as the Light Speed Transmission or LST. It is said that this particular is not equipped with the ‘Environmental Power Upgrade’ that boosts output to 1600 hp when running on E85.
