Track-focused Nissan Z Nismo with a 420 hp V6 unveiled

Nissan has taken the wraps off the 2024 Z Nismo – a more powerful, track-focused version of the Nissan Z.

The boffins at Nismo have added several upgrades to the Nissan Z. Starting with the engine, the 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 now runs higher boost and a revised cooling system. The result is 420 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque, which is available all the way from 2,000-5,200 rpm. It is mated to a 9-speed automatic, tuned specifically for this engine.

On the outside, the Nissan Z Nimso can be easily differentiated from the standard car thanks to its bespoke aero package. Besides the ‘Nismo’ badges, the car also gets subtle red accents and 19-inch Rays wheels. The carmaker has also made a few changes to the front fascia, giving it a more aggressive look.
