The Tesla Model S Plaid has proved time and again, that it’s super quick in a quarter mile. But, there are few places in the world where one can explore its limits, and the German Autobahn is one of them.
In a recent video posted by AutoTopNL, you will see the Model S Plaid reaching dizzying speeds on a public road. What’s more interesting is the way the car gathers speed. The silence is almost unnerving. The driver was able to take Model S Plaid to an indicated 328 km/h or 203 mph.
The Tesla Model S Plaid is powered by two electric motors – one on each axle. Together, they produce 1020 hp and 885 lb-ft of torque. Tesla claims the car can sprint from 0-60 mph in 1.99 seconds and has a top speed of 200 mph.
