Take a Tour of the Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport
The Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport was supposed to be the highlight of the 2020 Geneva Motor Show. Unfortunately, the show had to be cancelled due to the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The automaker has now released a short video presentation of the new hypercar.
The Chiron Pur Sport features a stiffer chassis and lower unsprung mass to make it quicker in the corners. The car also gets bespoke Michelin tyres that have been developed specifically for this car. The overall downforce has also been increased thanks to a revised front fascia, a more aggressive rear diffuser and large fixed rear spoiler.
At the heart of the Pur Sport is the familiar 8.0-liter, quad-turbo W16 engine. However, it now revs to 6,900 rpm. The ratios of the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission have also been revised for better acceleration and improved elasticity.
Priced at €3 million, the Chiron Pur Sport is essentially an expensive track toy for super rich.
