Chiron Super Sport ‘Sur Mesure’ celebrates Bugatti’s golden era
This week, Bugatti is all set to reveal a Chiron Super Sport ‘Sur Mesure’, celebrating the hypercar brand’s golden era.
According to a recent teaser shared by Bugatti, the car is a “homage to the era-defining moments” in the history of the brand. It will be unveiled on August 10 and showcased at ‘The Quail’ during the Monterey Car Week.
The Chiron Super Sport ‘Sur Mesure ‘ has been specially commissioned with a gold exterior. You do get a hint of it in the teaser images. However, more details are awaited.
The Chiron Super Sport is powered by an 8.0-liter W16 that churns out 1600 hp, while peak torque of 1180 lb-ft is available all the way up to 7,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, enabling the car to accelerate from 0-124 mph in 5.8 seconds.
