BMW M5 crash-1

Someone has crashed the 2025 BMW M5 already but it looks fixable

It hasn’t been long since deliveries of the 2025 BMW M5 began, and someone in Poland has already crashed one.

The G90 BMW M5 was reportedly wrecked by an employee of a local BMW dealership. While the exact details of the accident are unclear, the driver appears to have lost control and sideswiped some road furniture.

Looking at the images, it seems most of the damage is focused around the driver-side door panel and front fender. Besides, a few plastic parts can be seen strewn around the accident site. That being said, the force of the impact was enough to activate the airbags.

The car does look fixable from the limited information we can gather through these images. However, if there’s more damage underneath, especially structural damage, it may not be worth fixing.

BMW claims the new M5 produces 717 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque. However, a recent dyno run revealed that the 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 hybrid powertrain actually puts out around 820 hp and 859 lb-ft.
