Lamborghini Countach curb rash

Lamborghini

Someone curbed the Lamborghini Countach already!

The new Lamborghini Countach was unveiled at Pebble Beach just a few days back. Now, a video has emerged that shows a suspected curb rash on one of its wheels. It just shows how careful one has to be when driving an expensive supercar fitted with fancy rims and low-profile tires.

The Countach LPI 800-4 showcased last week was a pre-production car, so the light damage won’t be much of an issue. That said, if it had been a customer, we can only imagine the grand total on the invoice.

The Countach’s design has been inspired by the original poster car from the 1970s. As you can see, the wheels too are styled to mimic the classic deep-dish wheels of the Countach.

The new Countach is based on the Lamborghini Sian. It uses the same 6.5-liter V12 engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system, but the overall output has been raised to 814 hp. The supercar can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 2.8 seconds. 0-124 mph comes up in 8.5 seconds, and the car will hit a top speed of 220 mph.
