Sim Racer takes the Tesla Cybertruck to Nurburgring

Who would like to see the Tesla Cybertruck lap the Nurburgring?

Recently, Tesla unveiled its first electric truck called the Cybertruck. While its design may have split opinions worldwide, it promises decent performance. The headline figure of 0-62 mph in 2.9 seconds suggests that the Cybertruck will give even supercars a run for their money. So, it will be quite appropriate to take this American workhorse on a hot lap of the Nurburgring.

Tesla engineers have their hands full at the moment as they try to beat the Porsche Taycan’s Nurburgring lap record. Therefore, we may not see the Cybertruck tackling the Green Hell anytime soon. However, the sim racing community has other plans. Someone has already made a Cybertruck mod for BeamNG Drive and sim racer Jimmy Broadbent has been testing it out at the Nurburgring

Meanwhile, despite its odd looks,  Tesla has received more than 200,000 orders for the Cybertruck. Click here to read more about what Elon Musk had to say about that.
