SCOOP: 2018 Mercedes-AMG GT Facelift Spotted at the Nurburgring
The 2018 Mercedes-AMG GT facelift has been spotted testing at the Nurburgring. The refresh is expected to bring minor design tweaks and a more powerful engine.
The Mercedes-AMG GT facelift is expected to debut at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. Prototypes are currently being put through their paces at the Nordschleife, surprisingly, without any camouflage.

As far as aesthetic changes are concerned, the new AMG GT will have a slightly tweaked front end, a new front bumper design and revised air-intakes. The interior of the vehicle is expected to remain unchanged.
What’s more important though is that, the 2018 model will receive an updated engine. It will borrow the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 from the AMG E63. This engine in base tune will have 563 hp with the AMG GT S getting the full 603 hp treatment.
