Saudi-bound McLaren P1 HDK by Lanzante revealed
Lanzante has rolled out the third McLaren P1 HDK. It is the third out of 9 P1 HDK conversions planned by the company. It will be delivered to a collection in Saudi Arabia.
Lanzante offers bespoke upgrade packages for the McLaren P1. Besides the ‘Longtail’, the company’s catalogue includes the HDK or High Downforce Kit, which transforms a regular P1 into a street-legal P1 GTR.
The latest car to leave the factory is quite a stunner. It is finished in a shade of metallic light blue and rides on 5-spoke centre-lock wheels finished in silver. Being the P1 HDK, the carbon body panels are borrowed from the track-only P1 GTR. It also has a massive rear spoiler and dual exhausts in the centre.
Lanzante will also upgrade the 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine to a 4.0-liter unit if requested. This Cosworth-tuned motor is said to develop around 1000 hp, about 100 hp more than the stock engine.
