Rumor: Lamborghini to reveal a new Supercar on June 4, 2019

Rumors suggest that Lamborghini could be gearing up to reveal a new supercar. What could it be?

Sources tell us that Lamborghini is likely to reveal a new “secret” model on June 4, 2019. Now, we are not sure whether this will be a public unveiling or a low-key, private affair for hand-picked customers.

But, the big question is – what is this “secret Lamborghini”? From what we are told, it could either be the hybrid Lamborghini Unico (LB48H) or the rumored Huracan Safari.

We have been told that Lamborghini was at the Nardo high speed circuit in Italy recently to test out a prototype. We suspect that it might be a pre-production prototype of the LB48H. Head of Design Mitja Borkert and Maurizio Reggiani, Chief Technical Officer were also present.

We first reported about the LB48H back in June 2018. It is expected to be powered by a 6.5-litre, naturally aspirated V12 engine paired with an electric motor. The internal combustion engine is alone is likely to produce around 789 hp, while the hybrid system could add another 49 hp for a combined output of 838 hp.

If our guess is right, then Lamborghini could be in a position to give the Ferrari SF90 Stradale a run of its money.
