Rolls Royce Dawn Silver Bullet Collection brings back 1920’s glamour
Rolls Royce has revealed its first limited edition model of the new decade.
The Dawn Silver Bullet Collection is inspired by the roadsters from the 1920’s – the type of cars “associated with bright young things and rakish Hollywood rebels”. Only 50 examples will be built.
The Dawn Silver Bullet Collection features an Aero Cowling that adds a unique touch to the drop-top Roller. A rakish silver centre spine splits the rear deck lid. The Aero Cowling itself is finished in vapour-blasted titanium and sports the Silver Bullet text. The car has dark headlights, a new dark front bumper finisher, part-polished wheels and a single silver pinstripe completes the exterior look. On the inside, the Silver Bullet Dawn has a unique open-pore carbon fibre fascia and quilted leather on the transmission tunnel.
Since, the car is based on the Dawn, it is likely to be powered by 6.6-litre, twin-turbo V12 engine that produces 563 hp and 605 lb-ft of torque. The Black Badge gets a slightly more powerful version of the same engine.
Now, Rolls Royce hasn’t announced the price for this car. However, it would be safe to assume that the Silver Bullet Collection would cost more than the Dawn’s $350,000 base price.
