Croatian electric hypercar maker Rimac Automobili has shared a cryptic teaser on their social media handles. They’ve also cleared their Instagram feed, which suggests that something interesting is brewing.
The teaser, which says, “A new storm has swept through”, has left us scratching our heads. Maybe we can expect an official announcement during the Monterey Car Week.
The possibility of a new variant of the Rimac Nevera can’t be ruled out, though. The company has struggled to sell its electric hypercar, given the changing tastes of its high-end customers.
That being said, the Nevera 15th Anniversary edition was revealed just this month. The car gets a unique exterior, featuring a new copper color with a matte finish and glossy carbon fibre. The car also gets the circuit-board pattern livery and “15” year anniversary badges. A similar theme has been carried over to the interior.
The Never is equipped with four electric motors, producing 1914 hp and 1741 lb-ft of torque. The car uses a 120 kWh battery pack, giving it a range of 300 miles.
