R35 Nissan GT-R to soldier on in 2024 with minor updates
The R35 Nissan GT-R went into production all the way back in 2007. The Godzilla is still alive and kicking 17 years later.
The 2025 Nissan GT-R has been launched in Japan. It will go on sale in the month of June at prices starting at $97,700.
The MY2025 GT-R does receive a few updates. The Premium Edition T-spec and Track Edition models get the performance upgrades from the Nismo Special Edition. These include weight-balanced piston rings, connecting rods, and crankshafts. The former also gets a Blue Heaven interior option.
The 2025 Nissan GT-R will be produced in limited numbers. However, the carmaker hasn’t disclosed the exact number of cars it plans to build.
It is also believed that Nissan might finally phase out the R35 at the end of this year. The automaker is not expected to replace the R35 with a new flagship supercar until 2030.
