Pull Over Now! W Motors Lykan HyperSport joins Abu Dhabi Police Force

The $3.4 million Lykan HyperSport will make criminals confused for sure. Should they run from it or surrender so that they can ride in it?

Police officers in certain countries are fortunate enough to have some truly amazing cars in their fleets. Japan has a bunch of Nissan GT-R sports cars, Italy has got its share of Lamborghini Huracans, Dubai Police has almost every major supercar on the planet and now Abu Dhabi cops have something absolutely exotic and rare to flaunt – the W Motors Lykan HyperSport.

The $3.4 million supercar which joined the fleet has been given the Abu Dhabi police livery and emergency lights to look the part for its law enforcement duties. Now if that’s not going to make the spoilt brats in their supercars pull over, the HyperSport has an ample number of horses coming out of its engine bay to make them do just that. The HyperSport is one rare specimen as only 7 examples have been built in total.

The first supercar to be designed and produced in the Middle East, the Lykan Hyperport has a 3.7-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine developed by RUF. A 740 hp unit which hurls the machine from 0 to 62 mph in 2.8 seconds and to a top whack of 245 mph. Not bad at all.

In the supercar market, W Motors has replaced the Lykan HyperSport with a more furious Fenyr HyperSport. A total of 100 units will be created by the company. Will it star in the next Fast and Furious movie? There hasn’t been any official word on that yet. But it’d be cool to see one pulling off a crazy stunt like that skyscraper jump from Furious 7.
