Powersliding Ferrari Purosangue proves it’s not just an expensive family car
Avid supercar collector @powerslidelover recently got his hands on a Ferrari Purosangue. Unlike most reviewers, the videos posted on social media answer one important question – Will it drift?
Indeed. The Purosangue, with its front-mounted V12, sounds and feels like a true Ferrari. Yes, it’s quite bulky, and the four-wheel drive makes it look tame in videos. But, as you can see, the so-called FUV is great at pulling off neat powerslides while carrying four people in comfort.
The Purosangue is Ferrari’s first four-door, four-seater car. It is powered by a 6.5-liter V12 engine. This naturally aspirated motor develops 725 hp and 528 lb-ft of torque @ 6250 rpm. It is hooked up to an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Ferrari claims a 0-62 mph time of 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 193 mph.
