Porsche teases a special model ahead of Rennsport Reunion

Porsche has released a short teaser of an upcoming model. It will be unveiled at Rennsport Reunion at Laguna Seca Raceway in California on September 28.

The video shows what appears to be a 911 dart past the camera. It clearly sounds like a naturally aspirated engine, which indicates that the rumour of a 911 Turbo S Heritage Edition may not be true. Also, note that the car is finished in Rubystone Red – a colour that first featured on a 911 Carrera back in 1989.

We did manage to grab a screenshot of the car, but as you can see, it’s just a blur. What do you think? Is it a new Porsche 911-based track machine or something even more exciting?
