Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo is dead! No estate version for MY2024

The third-generation Porsche Panamera made its global debut earlier this week. The new model promises more luxury and tech. However, estate/wagon fans will be disappointed as Porsche has killed off the Panamera Sport Turismo.

The new-gen Panamera will not get an estate version. “In China and the U.S. – our main markets in the D segment – the Sport Turismo plays only a minor role. For this reason, we have decided to discontinue this model variant with the launch of the new generation,” a Porsche spokesperson told Automotive News Europe.

The move actually doesn’t come as a surprise as the Sport Turismo wasn’t that popular among buyers. As per some estimates, the share of this body style in the total sales of the Panamera was negligible. Hence, the flagship sedan will only be available in the standard hatchback body style going forward, in addition to a long-wheelbase version.
