Porsche 918 Spyder used as Runway Taxi by Delta
Delta Airlines has a treat for automotive fans. The American airline operator has acquired Porsche’s 918 Spyder hypercars to ferry their most elite customers. Until the end of the month, Delta Airlines customers flying out of Atlanta Hartsfield–Jackson will get a chance at being a passenger in the hybrid Porsche.
How to ride the Porsche 918 at Atlanta Airport?
Delta Medallion members will be eligible for a lucky draw. Selected members will then see Delta’s Elite Services team members waiting for them near the cars. Passengers will then get a ride to / from their airplane in the Porsche 918 hypercar.
The Porsche’s will be present at the Airport till 31 July 2023. And, to top it off, the Porsche Experience center in Atlanta is just 5 miles away from the airport. So if you like the car, you can head straight to the dealership to pick up one for yourself.
Delta Airlines and Porsche
This is not the first time that Delta Airlines has used Porsches. They have a long history of using these German sports cars. Currently, they have a fleet of Cayennes, Macans, Panameras, and Taycans across various airports in the US.
The Porsche 918 goes upwards of a million bucks. The hypercar boasts of 887 HP and 944 lb-ft of torque.
