Porsche 911 ST leaked ahead of debut; here’s what we know so far
The Porsche 911 ST has leaked ahead of its official debut. As we had reported earlier, the car will be unveiled on August 2, 2023.
The 911 ST is touted as the “ultimate collector’s 911”. Naturally, it will be produced in limited numbers and will be quite expensive. We’ve been told that it could cost €292,000 before options!
The Porsche 911 ST is essentially a “touring” version of the 911 GT3 RS. We have learned that the car will be powered by 525 hp flat-6 engine featuring a single-mass flywheel. It drops the rear-axle steering for a pure rear-wheel drive configuration. This also helps reduce the overall weight, which is said to be 1380 kg with a full tank of fuel.
Speaking of design, the 911 ST does look like a 911 GT3 RS sans the active rear spoiler. It has a familiar front fascia with large intakes and nostrils on the bonnet. It also gets wide front fenders with new vents to guide air out of the wheel arches.
