Porsche 911 GT3 facelift teased ahead of October 18 debut

As we had reported earlier, the Porsche 911 GT3 facelift (992.2) will be revealed on October 18. Porsche has just put out a link for the Youtube live stream, along with a teaser of the upcoming car.

The new 911 GT3 is expected to get subtle cosmetic changes such as new headlights and tail lights, a new rear bumper and tweaked front fascia. It will also get an upgraded aero package, featuring a redesigned rear spoiler.

The 911 GT3 facelift could also receive minor changes on the interior. The semi-digital gauge cluster is likely to be replaced with a digital screen. Moreover, Porsche is also likely to offer the Weissach package on the GT3 for the first time.

The new 911 GT3 facelift will be powered by a revised 4.0-liter flat-6 engine. Currently, this unit produces 502 hp and 346 lb-ft of torque and is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed PDK.
