Porsche 911 GT2 RS from ‘The White Collection’ sells for $1 million
The heavily customized Porsche 911 GT2 RS, part of “The White Collection”, has been sold for $1 million. The car was recently auctioned by RM Sotheby’s during an event in Houston, TX.
The White Collection consists of 56 Porsches, both new and old. Each car has been properly customized and is painted in Grand Prix white exterior color. The 911 GT2 RS has blue carbon fibre elements and magnesium wheels finished in Dark Sea Blue. The cabin is trimmed in Yachting Blue leather, along with an Alcantara headliner. The gauge cluster features white dial faces matching the exterior of the car.
The 911 GT2 RS is also equipped with the Weissach package that includes several carbon fibre parts and a roll cage. Overall, the cost of the options alone is said to be $344,000.
Powering this 911 GT2 RS is a 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-6 engine that develops 700 hp and 533 lb-ft of torque. This particular car has just 15 miles on the odometer, which makes it one of the few pristine examples sold in the market today.
