Pics : Lamborghini owners experience Urus S at Mount Etna, Italy

As part of the Esperienza Program, Italian supercar maker Lamborghini has explored the area and culture around Taormina. Further, participants also got a chance to hike Mount Etna and cover 160 km of road and dirt surfaces across the 12-day event.

What is the Lamborghini Esperienza Program?

This experience program by the Italian carmaker allows owners of Lamborghini cars to experience new models at new and exciting locations. This time, it was the fourth edition of the Esperienza Terra that showcased the 2023 Urus S.

Lamborghini Urus S : More Details

Last October, Lamborghini unveiled the Urus S. This SUV came with a more powerful engine and multiple customization options. Compared to the new Performante, the Urus S packs the same punch with 666 HP and 627 lb-ft. Of max torque.

Thanks to the consumer demand as well as positioning, the Urus is Lamborghini’s best selling model ever. Just in 2022, the company retailed 9,233 units overall, half of which were accounted for by the Urus range. With 5,367 units, the Urus was ahead of the next best selling model, the Huracan which managed to sell only 3,113 copies.

Lamborghini plans to add a plug-in hybrid model in the Urus range by 2024. Further, an all-electric Urus is also expected sometime in 2029.
